So I decided to help out one of my favorite local beer joints. Danny’s Bar and Grill has been on my list of favorite watering holes since it was Cammarata’s. And it is right up the street from my place. Well, they sponsor a law enforcement softball team and have an annual event to raise money to support the team.
I tied up some black and gold flies, put ’em in a box and am donating them for the auction this weekend. Festivities include a pig roast, cornhole tournament, silent auction and college football games. All in the parking lot, since the bar isn’t quite done being renovated after last year’s unfortunate fire.
So I think a good starting bid is around $50 or so. Hopefully someone will bid on them, and if not, I’ll get them back and try them this fall.
