I’ve been working on some extended body mayflies. Tried a few different techniques and materials and I’ve settled on this recipe for now. I’ll post tying steps to this post very soon. I have some bugs to tie up for friends!
Materials:
Hook: Your Choice
Tail: Your Choice
Body: Dubbing Over Foam
Rib: Tying Thread
Thorax: Yellow Superfine Dubbing or CDC
Wing: Mallard
Hackle: Your Choice
Thread: Yellow 6/0 or Your Choice
